Sustaining long-term cockroach control for your accounts means being thorough from the start. Along with an inspection and treatment, educating clients and implementing integrated pest management (IPM) practices can lead to maximum cockroach control:

  • Teach clients to inspect for signs of cockroaches and educate them about how to reduce cockroach necessities such as food, water and harborages.
  • Document sanitation for clients through written notes and images.
  • Seal utility and pipe penetrations, such as those under sinks.
  • Use various formulations and techniques for control, such as glue traps, baits, dusts, residuals and insect growth regulators (IGRs).
  • Ask clients to call at the first signs of trouble — before a major infestation occurs.
