CIRKIL is the first biopesticide registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the first pesticide that kills both live bed bugs and their eggs as a residual treatment. It’s available as CIRKIL CX Insecticide and Ovicide Concentrate and CIRKIL RTU Ready-to-Use Insecticide and Ovicide. The products work through contact, residual and vapor action. They are currently labeled for management of spiders, bed bugs and their eggs, including pyrethroid-resistant strains. Terramera has also conduct studies that demonstrated efficacy of CIRKIL products on several dozen different pest species, including several species of cockroaches, ants, spiders, fleas, ticks and flies. The company is in the process of working with the EPA for supplemental labels for these pests.
