Since Bird Barrier introduced Optical Gel in 2016, the product has been a big success with installers and consumers. This multi-sensory bird repellent uses sight, smell and touch to deter birds. Birds see fire or smoke, although there isn’t any. They smell peppermint oil, which they hate. The gel is sticky if the birds do touch it. Optical Gel keeps birds off all structures without harming them. It is supplied in ready-to-use plastic-dish containers and is easy to install. To honor customers’ requests, Optical Gel is now available in a Commercial 200 pack.
