EnviroPest gives back through Habitat for Humanity

Since 2016, Loveland, Colo.-based EnviroPest closes the office for a day each year to takes the entire team out to serve one of the community non-profit associations with which it’s affiliated. On March 2, the team worked with Habitat for Humanity — at both the organization’s local build house and its ReStore resale shop.

“Our build team painted and worked on the interior of the project,” notes Kevin Lemasters, president of EnviroPest. “At the ReStore, we sorted donated items and helped get them ready for resale. Some of our team worked outside to better organize the larger items.”

EnviroPest chooses a different organization to volunteer with each year, he says, but “our goal is to select local non-profits that we may already donate services to or financially support as a company. Our community partnerships are a valuable part of our culture.”

Lemasters explains that EnviroPest’s mission statement is “We exist to serve.”

“This is something we work to live out every day, in the service we deliver and interaction with customers,” he adds. “But having a day where our staff can be in the community is important to us as well.”
