Cockroach traps and monitors are a key part of any effective cockroach control program, but they must be used and placed properly. Monitors are an early-warning device and allow the technician to identify areas of activity and focus control measures accordingly where needed. In addition to cockroaches, these monitors can also catch and detect the presence of many other crawling insect pests such as ants, spiders and centipedes.

When using monitors, always write the date, location and number on each unit. This information will be a helpful reference when evaluating and performing your follow-up treatments.
