Cypress Creek Pest Control marks its 50th year of business in 2018. The Houston, Texas-based company started as a mosquito operation in 1968 — as a summer job for Mark Ivey, fogging for the Champions Community Improvement Association. Ivey started out pulling a thermal fogger behind his 8N Ford Tractor because he did not have a driver’s license.
“We are very proud to be in our 50th year here at Cypress Creek! We would not be able to celebrate this milestone if it were not for our great customers and employees. As proud as we are about our last 50 years, we are even more excited about our next 50 years,” says Zach Ivey, second-generation president of the QualityPro-certified company.
