Nisus Corp. recently completed the acquisition of the assets of Lord’s Additives, LLC, including all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency registrations, product names and intellectual property. Zinc borate is currently used as a preservative in oriented strand board, siding and other composite products, and is also used as a fire retardant. Nisus is using ZB-SHIELD for its Wood Preservation Division.
