Earlier this year, Wayne, N.J.-based Mrs.Bzzz Pest & Termite Solutions purchased Abbed Pest Control from David Dodd. The Totowa, N.J.-based firm was founded in 1977. Terms were not disclosed, but the deal was brokered by Brian Devera.
Devera’s wife, Benette, owns Mrs.Bzzz — the third company she has built. She has previously owned Shamrock Pest Management in Middletown, N.Y., and Team Shamrock in Naples, Fla. Mrs.Bzzz has been in business for more than 20 years, and serves 10 counties, from Northern New Jersey to Ocean County, N.J.
