Bifenthrin can play an important role in spider control for homes and businesses. Apply it indoors as a coarse, low-pressure crack-and-crevice or spot spray to locations where spiders often are found, such as corners, storage areas, closets, around windows and doors, in attics and under eaves. Apply it outdoors as a residual spray where spiders have been seen, including foundations, porches, window frames, eaves, patios and garages.

When applying bifenthrin as a perimeter treatment, spray a band of soil and vegetation 6 to 10 feet wide around and adjacent to an affected structure. Also, treat the foundation of the structure to a height of 2 to 3 feet. Treated foundations or other vertical exterior surfaces must either be protected from rain and irrigation, or be positioned such that they do not drain into curbside gutters, storm drains or sewers.
