Rodents constantly employ evasive tactics, which is why we need to use all available tools. Situating bait stations along wall/ground junctions is a popular choice because rodents often seek security by following these boundaries. However, strategic placement in alternative locations also can yield effective results.

For example, in areas with dense vegetation like ivy, rodents create their own pathways and leverage the cover it provides. Placing stations in these zones enhances the likelihood of rodent encounters. Additionally, positioning bait stations near active burrows is advantageous. Given rodents’ constant search for shelter, locating a station near their exit can entice them inside.
