As light-emitting diode (LED) insect light traps (ILTs) become increasingly prevalent, there’s a common misconception regarding their effectiveness compared to traditional fluorescent ILTs. While it’s true that LED ILTs are not as visually bright as their fluorescent counterparts, this does not diminish their efficacy in filth fly monitoring or control.
