In need of a new timepiece? Forget the high tech Apple Watch and opt for the simplicity of the Ant Watch instead. This “living conversation piece” does not keep time, but it does bring the wearer closer to nature. The bright green plastic case mimics the ant farms that kids find fascinating and “houses three to five live harvester ants at a time.” Sounds cool, doesn’t it? Alas, the Ant Watch is a joke perpetrated by the Analog Watch Co., which crafts watches from wood (and even plants a tree for every item purchased). It would have made telling time much more interesting, however.
