Athens, Ga.-based American Pest Control participated in the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce annual Summerfest Business Expo.

Each year, the event has a theme that businesses must base their expo booths around. This year’s theme was family movie night.

American Pest Control was awarded “Best Overall” for their booth decorated with the theme of “Bee Movie.”

The booth included a honeycomb-themed cornhole game, personalized honey stirrers and the staff dressed as bees.

The best overall award is selected by judges to the booth that used the theme the best, was interactive and was the most engaging for attendees of the expo.

This is just one of many outreach programs American Pest Control does through the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce. Other recent events include a “Friend Friday” celebration with the Extra Special People (ESP) organization for people with disabilities and their families; and the recent Women in Business Luncheon at Oconee State Bank.
