Termites feed on cellulose-based plant materials. They are capable of tearing apart woody material, often damaging furniture, shelving, and house foundations and crawlspaces. Some species will build their colonies in the ground, while others will establish aerial colonies. Mature, mating termites may spread infestations to multiple locations.

Proactive pre-construction applications can be an ideal preventive treatment for destructive termites. Typically consisting of two parts, these applications include an overall treatment to all label-specified areas, followed by a spot treatment to critical areas of the structure, including plumbing and utility entry sites, bath traps, expansion joints and foundation walls.
