On Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, Bug Off Pest Control Center, in association with Bayer ES, will present a workshop on what every pest management professional (PMP) must know regarding ant biology and habits — and their impact on residential, commercial and healthcare facilities. Featuring Kevin Connally of Bayer, the workshop will discuss the principal sweet-loving species common to the New York Metropolitan area. The presentation will also examine carpenter ants in detail. Control strategies will emphasize new technologies and approaches. The program will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Bug Off’s Career Training Center, 1085 Saint Nicholas Ave., New York, NY 10032. Cost of admission is $35. New York recertification credits will be awarded.
