In today’s bed bug world, detection is just as important as remediation — in that the latter is much more effective when the former is used.

However, using bed bug detection on just the bed in the room you are treating is an underutilization of a device’s ability and concept. Remember, bed bugs go where the people do, and people seldom stay in one place. Expand the detectors’ usage to other parts of the house. Place them underneath couch legs or in the secondary bedrooms, such as kids’ or guest bedrooms.

The key here is, don’t limit your detection to just one room, because the people you are servicing don’t live their lives in just one room.
