Aerothor Flea IGR + Adulticide contains two pyrethroids to control the adult fleas and ticks currently in the carpet — or any adult fleas that may emerge from the cocoons looking for a bloodmeal. For extended control, Aerothor Flea IGR + Adulticide supplements the pyrethroids with pyriproxyfen, a long-residual insect growth regulator (IGR). Pyriproxyfen works by disrupting the ability of flea eggs to hatch in the carpet, and prevents the larvae from maturing into bloodsucking adults. The IGR is what gives the treatment the long-term control necessary to keep fleas away from the pets and your customers. The product is labeled for application to carpets, drapes and furniture, as well as pet bedding.
