Endorsed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), employing integrated mosquito management (IMM) methods is the only way to ensure mosquito populations and the diseases they carry are effectively controlled. Successful IMM programs are designed to attack mosquitoes at each stage of their life cycle.

Remind homeowners to pay attention to the following common outdoor mosquito breeding hotspots that tend to collect water:

  • Pool covers
  • Trash/recycling containers
  • Watering cans
  • Old tires or tire swings
  • Children’s toys
  • Clogged gutters

Establishing an IMM program allows pest management professionals and their customers to feel confident in knowing they’re taking the proper steps in preventing mosquitoes.
