Tech Test Tidbit: Disease carriers

The house fly (Musca domestica) does not bite. It is capable of spreading disease, however, as one house fly can carry more than 1 million bacteria on its body. As they move from human or animal feces to food humans consume uncooked, house flies may transmit diseases such as Salmonella, Shigella and Chlamydia.
