Barry Stangel, president of the Pest Management Training & Consulting Center, Suffern, N.Y., announces the promotion of Deborah Gross to Director of Continuing Education. Her responsibilities include working with the center’s new educational partner, Central Turf & Irrigation Co., Elmsford, N.Y.
“Deborah has been working closely with the regulatory agencies and has developed a strong professional relationship with them in the northeastern region,” he says. “She also is an approved instructor for Core, Ornamental & Turf classes.”
Gross’ background is in the horticulture industry. She has worked for non-profit green companies and for botanical gardens, and has helped develop local community gardens in New York City.
