FAIRFAX, VA—June is National Homeownership Month, and the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), which serves as the consumer education and public outreach arm for the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), has developed four videos to help future and current homeowners understand the importance of wood-destroying organism (WDO) inspections as part of the home buying process, as well as the value pest proofing and partnering with a pest professional can have in protecting their biggest investment.
The videos “Before You Buy,” “Seasonal Pest Threats for First-Time Homeowners,” “Choosing a Pest Professional,” and “Seasonal Pest Proofing for New Homeowners” are available on PestWorld.org and on NPMA’s YouTube PestWorld channel. NPMA members are able to embed the videos on their own websites and share through their social media channels to help educate existing and potential customers.
