Liphatech’s acute rodenticide, TakeDown II, is now available in a mini block as well as a soft bait. Featuring the fast-acting active ingredient bromethalin, TakeDown II is effective in fighting anticoagulant-resistant populations of Norway rats, roof rats and house mice, and for controlling heavy infestations, especially those in commercial settings, the company says. The 14-gram mini blocks are designed with rodent gnawing edges and a center hole for securing onto vertical or horizontal rods in bait stations. According to the label, a lethal dose may be consumed in one night’s feeding, but it may take two or more days for the first dead rodents to appear.
