Arrow Exterminatorsheld its annual 2024-2025 Fiscal Year Kickoff Leadership Summit Aug. 6 and 7 at The Loews Hotel in Atlanta. For the past several years, the event has had a fun theme —and this year it was Harry Potter.
The Atlanta, Ga.-based company invited 540 team members and partners to celebrate the company’s achievements over the past year. 2024 has been a milestone year for the company, which is marking 60 years in the pest control industry.
Third-generation CEO Emily Thomas Kendrick welcomed employees, partners and sponsors to the Fiscal Year Kickoff Leadership Summit. Her energetic presentation cited the hard work that allowed the company to continue to grow and exceed expectations, stating “Our culture and our people are our superpowers.” Attendees also were given a glimpse of the company’s upcoming acquisition plans. The guest speaker on both days was Kim Bearden, an author, educator, and co-founder and executive director of the Ron Clark Academy, a non-profit middle school in Atlanta, Ga. Her energetic and inspiring presentation focused on the six principles of effective communication from her book, Talk to Me.
