Tech Test Tidbit:  Water bugs set sail

The American cockroach (Periplaneta americana), also commonly known as the palmetto bug or water bug, is native to Africa and the Middle East. We have the slave trade and maritime commerce to “thank” for bringing the species to North America in the early 1600s. At 1.5 inches long, the American cockroach is the largest cockroach species that infests homes in North America.
