Stinging insects like wasps, hornets and bees can be a serious concern for homeowners, often leading to reactive pest control after a painful sting. Stinging ant species also pose persistent challenges, requiring proactive management.

Effective pest control starts with prevention. Explain to customers how and why they should remove debris, trim vegetation and seal entry points such as doors, windows, eaves and weepholes.

At the start of each visit, identify any entry points, trails and nests, both inside and outside, to help determine the best treatment approach. A well-equipped pest control toolbox includes non-repellent perimeter pesticides and ant baits, which often are approved for sensitive environments such as schools and hospitals. Dual-active pesticides offer long-lasting control with no known resistance, whereas barrier sprays and dusting in key areas enhance effectiveness.
