Many PMPs rely on Syngenta’s Demand CS insecticide for spider control. Demand CS features iCAP technology, a proprietary technology that encases the active ingredient, lambda-cyhalothrin, in microscopic capsules. When applied according to label instructions, the treated area can contain up to 10,000 microcaps of insecticide per square inch. Demand can be used to control spiders as a spot spray, a crack and crevice application, or a perimeter exterior banded application. When pests cross a Demand CS barrier the microcaps cling to the pest to provide quick knockdown. The capsules also ensure the powerful formula stays on the surfaces where it’s needed by maintaining their shape longer and extending residual control, even with exposure to outdoor elements.
