Rain and warm weather often signal the arrival of that most-feared of pests: the termite. Spring and summer weather trigger their emergence and off they swarm to begin a new colony. If they’re emerging from hidden areas within a home, it’s a sure sign that your customer has a termite problem.

Whether you use termite bait, liquid termiticides or other methods, be sure to tell your customers that a one-time treatment may not be enough to completely eradicate termites. Follow-up visits may be necessary, and annual inspections thereafter are recommended.
