It can be helpful to inspect a difficult infestation at night, while cockroaches are active. A yellow or red filter can be put over your flashlight so the light doesn’t disturb the cockroaches. Yellow gives more illumination, but either color will work. Then, observe the cockroaches’ movements and watch where they travel.
