Spiders are challenging pests to manage because of the diversity of spider species, habitats and behaviors. When controlling spiders, keep these integrated pest management (IPM) concepts in mind:
⦁ Manage outside lighting to reduce attraction to the structure.
⦁ Remove spider webs before applying any product.
⦁ Use aerosol products to treat spider egg sacs.
⦁ Use an appropriately labeled microencapsulated pyrethroid insecticide for residual control.
