Multiple-catch traps (MCTs) are capable of catching up to 30 mice. Most MCTs use a self-monitoring teeter-totter mechanism that requires no wind-up, so they’re always working and ready to catch mice. It’s a common choice for use in commercial accounts such as food-processing or pharmaceutical facilities and warehouses. They’re placed along interior perimeter walls on either side of entry doors or loading docks, among other areas.
One additional MCT placement often overlooked, however, is on the exterior of a facility. Place MCTs outside on either side of the entry doors, loading docks and any other vulnerable entry points, to intercept mice before they can make it inside the account.
