When incorporating mattress encasements, pest management professionals encounter two questions: What size is this bed? and What size cover do I need?

Often the quickest solution is to simply look on the mattress tag: You know, the one that says, “Do not remove under penalty of law”? It is often sewn into the center section of the head or the foot of the mattress. On this tag, you will find printed the dimensions of the mattress — 60x80x12, for example. That means you have a queen mattress that is 12 in. deep. With that knowledge, you can contact your distributor, who will provide you with the correct mattress encasement for the job.
