The total U.S. William Blair/PCO Bookkeepers & M&A Specialists Pest Index increased 10 percent year-over-year in October 2025, in line with the long-term average index growth rate of 10 percent.

“Revenue growth decelerated in the residential business, from 17 percent in September to 12 percent in October,” said William Blair Equity Researcher Tim Mulrooney in a news release. “However, adjusting for one more workday in September, we estimate that revenue growth in the residential business was similar across both months.”

Dan Gordon, managing member of PCO Bookkeepers & M&A Specialists, noted, “October’s results reflect business as usual in the U.S. pest control market — showing predictable demand and steady growth.”
